Adopt-A-Scientist – Cure Cancer provides a platform for donors to support specific cancer research projects. Our focus is on disease-specific research that lacks initial funding or ongoing research that is underfunded.
Identify Research Projects
Supporters of Adopt-A-Scientist – Cure Cancer helps donors identify research projects for the cancer they hate the most at accredited cancer institutions.
Meet and Greet
Adopt-A-Scientist – Cure Cancer will coordinate a presentation by the researchers, where donors can learn about the project, ask questions and tour the laboratory. They can see first-hand that their donation is put to good use.
Screening Process
All research projects will be thoroughly vetted and must be approved by our Scientific Advisory Board before any funds will be donated.
Full Donation
Adopt-A-Scientist – Cure Cancer acts as a pass-through entity. Overhead and administrative costs are funded separately, so Adopt-A-Scientist – Cure Cancer does not take a penny from your donation. All donations will be forwarded in full to research institutions.
