Accelerating Progress in Cancer Medicine
When you adopt a scientist, we directly connect you to the person who is doing the research. You give them the freedom and flexibility to concentrate fully on their groundbreaking research rather than wasting their precious time writing extensive grant proposals, which can take 1 year to fund with funding success rates of less than 10%.
Identifying Promising Research Projects
Adopt-A-Scientist – Cure Cancer Directors and Scientific Advisors works closely with the top cancer research institutions to identify research projects that align with the donor’s interests, thereby helping to end the cancer they hate the most.
Rigorous Screening Process
All research projects and researchers conducting the work will be thoroughly vetted by our independent Scientific Advisory Board, consisting of world leaders in cancer research. Recommended projects will be reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors for presentation to the donor.
Monitoring Progress and Donor Engagement
Researchers will meet directly with donors to discuss their project and, at the end of their funding period, will report on their progress. The Scientific Advisory Board and Board of Directors will review interim and final reports to ensure that the project is on track as proposed.
