Dr. Matthew Ellis is the Director of the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center and Associate Director of Precision Cancer Medicine at the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. George Miles, MD, PhD
Dr.George Miles is an assistant professor in Molecular and Human Genetics and Laboratory Director of Precision Cancer Medicine in the Lester & Sue Smith Breast Center at Baylor College of Medicine.
Research Overview
Dr. Ellis & Dr. Miles are seeking to develop ultra-sensitive, non-invasive molecular assays for rapid monitoring of disease and response to therapy. Their cutting-edge research could reduce the time breast cancer patients are on ineffective (and possibly toxic) treatments.
